Nanny Placement Services

Our Professional Placement Process

Every dedicated search, whether it's for a full-time, part-time, or specialized role, begins with our in-depth family consultation. To formally initiate the customized search and vetting process, we require a $500 non-refundable search initiation fee. This fee is credited toward your final placement fee.

HavenDirect™| Full-time Nanny Placement

Our core placement service, designed to find you a professional, long-term nanny for 30+ hours per week. We manage the entire comprehensive search and vetting process from start to finish.

  • 💼 Placement Fee –A one-time, flat-rate fee of $4,000.
  • 🔍 Process – Includes a dedicated search, in-depth candidate screening, and expert guidance through the interview and hiring process.
  • ✅ Employment Model – Your family directly employs the caregiver. We provide a professional work agreement template and a referral to our trusted nanny payroll partner.

HavenBridge™ | Specialized Care Placement

Finding the right caregiver for a child with complex needs requires a level of detail that goes far beyond a standard search. Our HavenBridge™ process is personally overseen by our founder, Marian Ofori, RN, to ensure a clinical standard of care and a perfect match for your family's unique journey

    • Additional Fees and Charges

    Supplementary Service Fees

    • Extra Children – $5/hour per child beyond 3 children
    • Holiday Care – 1.5× standard hourly rate on major holidays
    • Extended Care – 1.5× hourly rate for services exceeding 30+ minutes beyond scheduled time
    • Transportation – $0.67/mile reimbursement when caregivers transport children (waiver required)

    Cancellation Fees

    • 48+ hours notice results in no fee
    • Under 48 hours incurs a $75 fee
    • Cancellations with less than 1 hour notice will be charged the booking fee plus all scheduled hours

    Rush Booking Fees

    • $25 (12–24 hours notice)
    • $35 (6–12 hours notice)
    • $45 (<6 hours notice)
    • Rush fees charged only if booking is secured

    Overnight Care Rates

    • Sleeping Hours – $250 flat rate
    • Awake Hours – Standard hourly rate applies

    Tipping Guidelines

    ✨ TIPPING IS COMPLETELY OPTIONAL ✨
    If you choose to tip:

    • Babysitters & On-Demand Sitters – 10-20% of total booking cost
    • Hotel & Event Babysitters – 15-25% of total booking cost
    • Nannies & Recurring Caregivers – Tipping is NOT expected. Occasional holiday appreciation is at your discretion
    • When tips are given, 100% goes directly to caregivers

    Service Policies

    Booking Requirements
    • Minimum Booking – 4-hour minimum for all standard services
    • Professional Caregivers – All caregivers are professionally trained, background-checked W-2 employees

    Administrative Policies

    Replacement Policy
    • We will attempt to provide a replacement caregiver if unavailable
    • Cannot guarantee a replacement
    • If we cannot fill the booking, your booking fee will be refunded
    Booking Method
    • All bookings must be made through NurtureHavenWe will attempt to provide a replacement caregiver if unavailable
    • Direct Booking Prohibited Direct booking with caregivers is not permitted
    • Weather Considerations Care may be impacted by severe weather conditions

    Overnight Care Policy

    Accommodation Requirements
    • Comfortable sleeping area must be provided
    • Clean bed or pull-out sofa
    • Nearby bathroom access
    Caregiver Working Conditions
    • Caregivers must be provided with a clean, safe environment
    • Cameras are not allowed in bathrooms or caregiver sleeping areas
    • Professional respect and safety are our top priorities

    Health & Safety Restrictions

    Care CANNOT be provided for children with:

    • Fever over 100.0°F
    • Vomiting or diarrhea (within 24 hours)
    • Contagious illnesses (COVID-19, flu, strep, etc.)
    • Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease (must be fever-free for 72 hours & blister-free)
    Important Medical Notes
    • Caregivers do NOT administer medication
    • Safe Sleep practices must be followed for infants
