Everything you need to know about Nurture Haven, our services, and how we work.
All Nurture Haven caregivers are W-2 employees of the agency — not independent contractors or gig workers. We manage vetting, training, payroll, taxes, and insurance so your family doesn't have to.
Those platforms connect you with independent contractors. Nurture Haven is an agency — we employ caregivers directly, vet them to RN-led standards, and manage all employment responsibilities. You get accountability, not just access.
We serve families in Boston, Cambridge, MetroWest Boston (Hopkinton, Framingham, Natick, Wellesley, Needham), surrounding suburbs (Newton, Brookline, Dedham, Westborough), and Worcester County.
Yes. CPR & First Aid certification is required for all Nurture Haven caregivers. We also conduct CORI background checks, reference verification, and personal interviews.
Membership guarantees priority access and professional standards — not unlimited availability. Enrollment is intentionally limited to protect care quality for all members.
No. The membership secures your priority access. Care hours are billed separately at member rates when you book.
Yes. Memberships are month-to-month with no long-term contract. Cancel before your next billing cycle with no penalty.
Yes. Member rates apply when our caregivers meet your family at a hotel, resort, or vacation rental in our service area.
With Consistent Care, the caregiver remains our W-2 employee and you pay an hourly rate to the agency. There's no placement fee. With Permanent Nanny Placement, the nanny becomes your household employee and a 15% placement fee applies. Consistent Care is ideal for temporary or transitional periods.
We match your family with the right caregiver from our professional team and share their profile before the first day. Full interview processes are part of our Permanent Nanny Placement service.
Occasionally, yes — if timing and availability align. More often, families use Consistent Care for the short-term and then begin a separate Permanent Placement search. Either path works.
Driving is not included in Consistent Care. Care is in-home and at local activities. For families needing transportation, our Permanent Nanny Placement can include that.
No. Postpartum doulas focus on maternal recovery, breastfeeding support, and newborn education. Our Overnight Infant Support is childcare — caring for your baby through the night so parents can rest. It works best as a follow-on after doula care concludes.
Ideal for infants 0–6 months. All caregivers have infant experience, are CPR certified, and are trained in safe sleep practices.
Most families book 2–3 nights per week. Shifts are typically 8–9 hours (9 PM–6 AM).
Our placement fee is 15% of the nanny's annual compensation. A 50% deposit is due when the search begins, and the remaining 50% is due on the nanny's start date. Payment plans are available.
Yes. If the placement doesn't work out within 90 days, we'll find you a replacement at no additional cost.
Typically 2–4 weeks from consultation to hire. We take a limited number of placements each month to ensure personalized attention.
